The deadline for handing in online gym hours is Friday, May 26th.
1. Triple Tabata Workout.
The Annual Triple Tabata Workout will take place on Thursday, June 15 at 7:00am sharp! This year we are attempting to accomplish 2 major goals!
#1: Set an attendance record of 100 or more participants!
#2: Fundraise a minimum of $500 for the MANITOBA CANDLELIGHTERS CHILDHOOD CANCER SUPPORT GROUP! This organization offers support to families that who are experiencing or have experienced the effects of childhood cancer.
2. 30-Day Push-Up Challenge!
Congratulations to the staff and students who participated in our 30-Day Push-Up Challenge from April 17 to May 16! I hope that you enjoyed the challenge, but don't forget that fitness is something that you can do each day to improve your health!
Here are some of the highlights.
The total number of completed push-ups was 66,157! Sixty five participants (58 students and 7 staff) took part in the challenge. The average number of push-ups completed each day was 2175!
The total caloric expenditure in 30 days was 26,463 Calories or 90 Starbucks venti caramel macchiatos or 50 McDonalds Big Macs!
3. SPORTS PARTICIPATION POINTS.
Check the gym bulletin board for access to your sports points.
